Hello, Nice Question and here is the answer-
Area of shaded region= area of rectangle - area of triangle.
Now,
Area of triangle=1/2 * b * h
= (1/2) * 9 * 6
=(1/2) *54
= 27
Now,
Area of rectangle = l*b
=9l
Area of shaded region = 9l - 27
=9(l+3)cm^2
Sorry bro here the value of length is not given so answer is in variable.

utkbkkh: = 54
utkbkkh: Now simply area of shaded region = area of rect - area of triangle
utkbkkh: =54-27
utkbkkh: =27
