Area of square =a^2

=14^2

=196

Area of circle

=22/7×r^2

=22/7×7^2

22/7×49

22×7

=154

AREA OF SHADED REGION

=AREA OF SQUARE-AREA OF CIRCLE

=196-154

=42cm^2
