side of square ==> 12 cm
radius of each sector ==> 6cm

Area of shaded region = Area of square - area of 4 sector

area of square ==》(side)^2
==》 (12)^2
= 144 cm^2

area of sector ==》 4 ×( theta/ 360)pie(r)^2

we know that the angle of square is 90°
so that the theta is 90°

= 4× (90/360)×3.14× 6 × 6
= 3.14 ×36
= 113.04 cm^2

area of shaded region ==》 (144 - 113.04)cm^2

==》 30.96 cm^2

So that the area of shaded region is 30.96 cm^2
