GIVEN

RECTANGLE

LENGTH = 50CM

BREADTH = 20CM

CIRCLE

RADIUS = 3CM

EXPLANATION

Area of rectangle = L×B

Area of circle = pie×r^2

when we subtract area of circle

from area of rectangle than we

found shaded portion.

Solution

Rectangle = 50cm×20CM

= 1000cm^2

Circle = 22/7×3^2

=28.28cm^2

Answer

now we find shaded portion

1000cm^2-28.28cm^2

=971.72cm^2

HOPE THAT HELPS YOU
