The diagonal of the square inscribed is equal to the Diameter of the given circle..
Diagonal = 8 * 2
=> Side of square * root2 = 16
=> Side of square = 16 / (root2)
Area of square = Side^2
= (16/root2) ^2
= 256 / 2
= 128 cm^2
