Find the area of the square whose perimeter is 40 metre

perimeter is 40
let the sides of square be x so, we get

40= x+x+x+x
40= 4x
x= 40÷4
x=10
then,
area of square = side × side
area of square = 10 × 10
so, area of square = 100 m^2

4 × side = 40m
side = 10m

area of square = side × side
= 10×10
= 100 m square
