AS we know that Diagonal ( D) =
 =  \sqrt{l {}^{2} + b {}^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{4 {}^{2} + 3 {}^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{16 + 9}  \\  =  \sqrt{25}  \\  = 5 \: cm
Hence
Side of the square is 5 cm
Area of square = Side × Side
 = 5 \times 5 \\  = 25 \:  \: cm {}^{2}
