Given,
Radius of cylinder= 21 cm
Height of cylinder= 28 cm
Now,
T.S.A. of Cylinder= Area of tin sheet
Volume of Cylinder= πr²h
= 22/7*21*21*28
= 66*21*28
= 38808 cm³
Now,
T.S.A. of cylinder= 2πr(h+r)
= 2*22/7*21(28+21)
= 132*49
= 6468 cm²

Hope this helps you!

The area of tin sheet required is 6468 sq.cm. and the volume of the container is 38808 sq.cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of cylinder = 21 cm

Height of cylinder = 28 cm

Total surface area of cylinder = 2 \pi r h + 2 \pi r^2 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 21 \times 28 + 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times (21)^2=6468 cm^2

Volume of cylinder =\pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times (21)^2 \times 28 = 38808 cm^3

Hence The area of tin sheet required is 6468 sq.cm. and the volume of the container is 38808 sq.cm.
