find the area of the top of table cloth whose length is 25 m and breadth is 15 m if the table has to be covered with a table cloth such that on all four sides 2 m cloth must cover the legs of the table what should be the length and breadth of table cloth

Here,
Length, l = 25 m
Breadth, b = 15 m

Thus,

Area of a rectangle = l × b
 
= 25 × 15

= 375

As the table need 2m cloth for each 4 side = 4 × 2 = 8

Now,

375 × 8 = 3000m
