Area of trapezium = 1/2 *h (a+b) - eq.(1)
AD = height = 9 = h
a is not equal to b
Let a= side = AB= 15
and b = side =DC= 40
Now putting the values of a,b and h in eq.(1)
Area = 1/2* 9 (15 +40)
by BODMAS
Area = 9/2 ( 55)
= 4.5 * 55
= 247.5 (Ans). ☺️

sweetgirlliya: I hope it works ....
