Find the area of the trapezium in which parallel sides are of lengths 5cm add 11cm whereas non parallel sides are of lengths 4cm and 6cm.

Given,
length of parallel side= (5+11) cm
length of non-parallel side =4 cm and 6 cm

so, height =3^(1/2×3)

now,
area of trapezium =1/2(sum of the parallel side) × height
=(1/2(16) ×(3^(1/2×3) cm^2
= (24×(3^1/2×3) cm^2
