Find the area of the triangle formed by the points A(2,3) , B(5,4) , C(1,6) & also name the type of triangle formed​

AB=√(5-2)²+(4-3)²

=√(3)²+(1)²

=√10

BC=√(1-5)²+(6-4)²

=√20

AC=√(1-2)²+(6-3)²

=√10

so,

two sides equal one side not equal is isosceles triangle

area=1/2[ x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)]

=1/2[2(4-6)+5(6-3)+1(3-4)]

=1/2[10]

=5

by using distance formula

we could find the base of triangle ABC and using mid point theorm we could find the co-ordinate of mid point of base BC then use the distance formula to find the median which is the height then by using 1/2 Base* height find the Area of the Triangle . TRY to do yourself
