Given,

The dimensions of the triangle are 18 cm , 10 cm and 14 cm.

To find,

The area of the given triangle.

Solution,

In this case,we have to apply the Heron's formula,to calculate the area of the given triangle with mentioned dimensions.

At first we have to calculate the semi perimeter (s) of the given triangle

= (18+10+14)/2 = 21 cm

The area of the triangle

= ✓s (s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= ✓21 (21-18) (21-10) (21-14)

= ✓21 × 3 × 11 × 7

= ✓4851

= 69.64 cm²

Hence, the approximate area of the given triangle is 69.64 cm².
