Area of one shaded semicircle = 19.25
Two such semicircles = 19.25 × 2
= 38.5 m

Area of unshaded portion = Area of whole figure - Area of shaded portion.
= 140m - 38.5m
= 101.5 m
Area of unshaded portion = 101.5 sq.m
