If properties like melting and boiling point of an object is high then obviously it requires more energy to breakdown it may be alloy , or a naturally occurring substance, and the degree of energy required is very high which is obviously IMPOSSIBLE for surrounding system to supply, and hence these type of objects retain there solid state property
Or
If melting point of an object is high, then at room temperature it probably would be in solid state as it would require high temperature, more than room temperature to melt it.
