Hello!
(Sum of parallel sides)(distance b/w parallel sides)1/2=area of trapezium
One parallel side measures 80 cm.
The other parallel side measures 60 cm.
The distance between these parallel sides is 25 cm.
therefore,
the area of the trapezium
={1/2 (80+60)25}cm^2
={1/2×140×25}cm^2
={70×25}cm^2
=1750 cm^2
Ans. The area of the trapezium is 1750 cm^2
hope it helps... :)
