We know that area of trapezium is
1 \div 2(sum \: of \: parallel \: sides) \times distance \: between \: them
1 \div 2(10 + 2) \times 1.5
1 \div 2(12) \times 1.5
6 \times 1.5
 = 9 {cm}^{2}
