find the area of trapezium whose parallel sides are 11 and 25 and whose non parallel sides are 15 cm and 13 cm​

non parallel sides are 15cm, 13cm

Here area of trapezium = Area of parallelogram + area of triangle

Also area of triangle = (1/2) × base × height



Hence height of parallelogram is also 12 cm

Area of parallelogram = base × height

= 11 × 12 = 132 sq cm

Hence area of trapezium = 84 + 132 = 216 sq cm
