by herons formula area of triangle abc

area =root s  (s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=root20(20-17)(20-8)(20-15)

=root20(3*12*5)

=root20*120

=root3600=60cm^2

again area of triangle=1/2base *height

60=1/2*17*h

h=120/17

h=7.05cm
