here x1= 2,x2 = 6 ,x3 =4

y1= 3,y2= 3 ,y3 = 7....

= 1/2 | 2(3-7)+6(7-3)+4(3-3) |

= 1/2 | 2(-4) +6(4)+4(0)|

= 1/2 | -8 +24+0 |

= 1/2 | 16 |

= 8 sq.units...
