Heya....^_^

Here's ur ans. -----

Area of triangle = 1/2 { x1 (y2 - y3) + x2 ( y3-y1) + x3(y1-y2)}

Here ,
x1 = -2 , x2 =10 , x3 =-2

y1= 4 , y2=-2 , y3= -8

Area of triangle = 1/2 { -2(-2+8) + 10(-8-4) -2(4+2)}

Area = 1/2 { -2×6 -10×12 -2×6}
Area = 1/2 { -12-120-12}
Area = 1/2 × -144
Area of triangle = -72 unit^2

Since , area can never be negative ignore negative sign

Hence , Area of triangle = 72 unit^2
