Area of triangle =

×b×h

b=40cm,h=80 cm

∴A= 1/2 x h x b

40×8/2 cm

=1600 cm

  \huge\cal \underbrace \red{Solution}

  \sf \purple{\star \: Area  \: of \:  triangle  = \frac{1}{2}   \times base \times height}

 \implies  \frac{1}{2}  \times 40 \times 8

 \implies  \frac{1}{2}  \times 320

  \implies \: 160  \tt {cm}^{2}

Hence, area of triangle is 160  \sf{cm}^{2}
