Step-by-step explanation:

we can find area by heron's formula

where s is equal to 6+5+9/2=20/2=10

now by using heron's formula

s-a=10-6=4

s-b=10-5=5

s-c=10-9=1

so root of s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

root of 10x4x1x5

root of 200

=10root2

Find the area of triangle whose sides are 6cm, 5cm and 9cm.

{\underline{\underline{\large{\textsf{\textbf{\pink{Solution : }}}}}}}

Given:

a= 6cm

b= 5cm

c= 9cm

To find:

Area of triangle=?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀_______________________

{\underline{\boldsymbol{\green{According~ to~ the~ question:}}}}

By using Heron's formula

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ \sf{s =  \dfrac{a + b + c}{2}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\sf{s= \dfrac{6 + 5 + 9}{2}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀  \sf{s = \dfrac{20}{2}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀{ \boxed { \sf{  s = 10cm}}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ \sf{Area \: of \: triangle =  \sqrt[] {s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)} }

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ \sf{Area \: of \: triangle} =   \sqrt{10(10 - 6)(10 - 5)(10 - 9)}

 \sf{Area \: of \: triangle} =  \sqrt{4 \times 5 \times 1}

⠀⠀⠀⠀ \sf{Area \ of \ triangle } = \sqrt{20}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ \sf{Area \ of \ triangle } = 2\sqrt{5}
