Given, three sides of a are 50,120 and 80cm

perimeter of = 50+120+80

= 250cm

half of perimeter = s = p/2 = 250/2 = 125cm

Using heron's formulae,

area of =

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

where a,b,c are the three sides if the

a = 50

b = 120

c = 80

Now applying heron's formulae,

 \sqrt{125(125 - 50)(125 - 120)(125 - 80)}  \\  </em><em>=</em><em>\sqrt{125(50)(5)(45)}  \\  </em><em>=</em><em>\sqrt{5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 2 \times 5 \times 5 \times 9 \times 5 }  \\ </em><em>=</em><em>5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 3 \sqrt{2 \times 5}  \\</em><em>=</em><em> 375 \sqrt{10}

Area of the given = 37510
