find the area of triangle whose vertices are a (1, - 1 )b (- 4, 6) C( - 3, - 5)..( plz answer stp by stp and in solve it in a paper)

Let,

x1= 1

x2= -4

x3 = -3

y1 = -1

y2= 6

y3 = -5

Now Area of Δ whose vertices are given = 1/2[x1(y2-y3) + x2(y3-y1) + x3(y1-y2)]

Putting all the values we get,

1/2[1(6-(-5) + (-4(-5-(-1)) + (-3(-1-6)]

= 1/2 (11+16+21)

=1/2(48)

= 24 sq. units
