Suppose the seven numbers are a, b, c, d, e, f, and g.

Average of first 4 number = 4
(a+b+c+d)/4 = 4
a+b+c+d = 16 ...................... (i)

Average of last 4 numbers = 4
(d+e+f+g)/4 = 4
d+e+f+g = 16 ...................... (ii)

The average of seven numbers = 3
(a+b+c+d+e+f+g)/7 = 3
a+b+c+d+e+f+g = 21 ............. (iii)

if we add (i) and (ii), the result is

a+b+c+d+d+e+f+g = 16+16

Lets put the value of seven numbers in the above expression

21 + d = 32
d = 11.
just change the digits
