The average of the first four odd number is 4

GIVEN:- first four odd number

TO FIND:- find the average of the first four odd number

SOLUTION:-

  • Odd numbers are numbers that cannot be divided by 2 completely which means they cannot be divided into two separate integers evenly. If we will divide an odd number by 2, then it will leave a remainder.

The first four odd numbers are = 1, 3, 5, 7

According to the question,

To find the average of odd numbers take their sum and divide by the number of odd numbers.

Average of the first four odd number =

 = \frac{1 + 3 + 5 + 7}{4} \\ = \frac{16}{4} \\ = 4

Hence, the average of the first four odd number is 4
