Find the base of a triangle whose area is 90 cm2 and height 12 cm.​

Given:-

Area of triangle =90cm 2

Height of triangle =12cm

Let the base of the triangle be x meter.

As we know that, the area of triangle (A) is given as-

A= \frac{1}{2} × base×height. (1)

Substituting these values in en ^{2} (1), we have

90= \frac{1}{2} × \frac{1}{2} ×x

⇒6x=90

⇒x= \frac{90}{6} =15cm

Hence the base of the triangle is 15cm.
