area of a triangle = 1/2 × base × hight
1256= 1/2 × base × 31.4
base × 31.4 = 1256×2
base = 80

The answer is 80 mm

GIVEN

Height of the triangle = 31.4 mm

Area of the traingle = 1256 m²

TO FIND

Base of the triangle.

SOLUTION

The above problem can be simply solve the above problem as follows;

Given,

Height of the triangle = 31.4 mm

Area of the traingle = 1256 m²

Formula to calculate area of triangle = (1/2) × base × height

Putting the values;

1256 = (1/2) × base × 31.4

2 × 1256 = 31.4 × base

2512/31.4 = base

base = 80 mm

Hence, The answer is 80 mm
