find the breadth of the rectangle whose length is 0.7 and perimeter is 200cm

l=0.7
p=200
p=2(l+b)
200=2(0.7+b)
200/2=0.7+b
100=0.7+b
b=100-0.7=99.3

Given :-
length of rectangle = 0.7
perimeter = 200

let breadth be 'x'


perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth ) \\ \\ <br />= &gt; 200 = 2 ( 0.7 + x ) \\ \\ <br />= &gt; \frac{200}{2} = 0.7 + x \\ \\ = &gt; 100 = 0.7 + x \\ \\ = &gt; 100 - 0.7 = x \\ \\ = &gt; 99.3 = x
breadth ( x ) = 99.3 cm

CHECK
perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth)
= 2(0.7+99.3)
= 2 X 100
=200
