Given : cylindrical vessels

To find : capacity in cubic meters

Solution:

A vessel in cylindrical Shape

With base Diameter  =  20 cm  =  0.2 m

& height = 30 cm = 0.3 m

Radius = Diameter/2 =  0.2/2 = 0.1 m

Volume of cylindrical Shape Vessel = πr²h

=  π (0.1)² (0.3)

=  3π  * 10⁻³  m³

using π = 3.14

=  3(3.14)  * 10⁻³  m³

= 9.42 * 10⁻³  m³

capacity of one of cylindrical vessels at  home  = 9.42 * 10⁻³  m³

or 9.42 litre

Volume of the cylindrical bottle = Appx 1 lt

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a cylindrical water bottle of height 25 cm and 7 cm diameter. Let's find the volume of the water bottle at my home.

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Substituting the values, we get:  V = 22/7 * 7/2 * 7/2 * 25 = 962.5 cm³

Let's convert Volume to m³.

962.5 cm³ = 0.9625 * 10⁻³ m³

We know that 1 m³ = 100 liters.

So = 0.9625 * 10⁻³ m³ = 0.9625 * 10⁻³ * 1000 = 0.9625 liters or approximately 1 liter.

So the volume of the cylindrical bottle is 0.9625 liters (close to 1 liter).
