SOLUTION

Here, r = 3 and θ = 90°.

Let the cartesian coordinates be (x, y).

∴ x = r cos θ = 3 cos 90° = 3(0) = 0

y = r sin θ = 3 sin 90° = 3(1) = 3

∴ the cartesian coordinates of the given point are (0, 3).
