Now, we know

co-ordinate of centroid of a triangle is given by

$( \frac{x1 + x2 + x3}{3} \: \frac{y1 + y2 + y3}{?3}$

Hence, the centroid of the given triangle will be

$( \frac{0 + a + 0}{3} \frac{0 + 0 + b}{3} ) \\ = > ( \frac{a}{3} \: \: \: \frac{b}{3} )$
