centroid =( \frac{x1 + x2 + x3}{3} )( \frac{y1 + y2 + y3}{3} )

centroid=

( \frac{2   +  - 3 + 7}{3})(  \frac{5 + 2 +  - 1}{3} )

=

 (\frac{6}{3} )( \frac{6}{3} )

=(2,2)
