Given :-

  • Diameter is 60 cm.
  • Radius is 60 / 2 = 30 cm.

To Find :-

  • Circumference and Area of a circle ?

Solution :-

◆ We know that,

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

Now substitute the values :-

Circumference of a circle = 2 × 22 / 7 × 30

Circumference of a circle = 44 / 7 × 30

Circumference of a circle = 6.28 × 30

Circumference of a circle = 188.4 cm

◆ We also know that,

Area of a circle = πr²

Now substitute the values :-

Area of a circle = 22 / 7 × 30 × 30

Area of a circle = 22 / 7 × 900

Area of a circle = 2828.57 cm².

Circumference of a circle is 188.4 cm and Area of a circle is 2828.57 cm².
