Given :-

Find the circumference of a circle whose area is 64cm²

Solution :-

  • Given, that area of the circle is 64 cm²

    ⇒ πr² = 64

    ⇒ \sf\frac{22}{7} r² = 64

      ⇒ r² = \sf\frac{64 \times 7}{22}

   ⇒ r ≈ 4.512

  • Now, we know that circumference = 2πr

    ⇒ Circumference = 2 × \sf\frac{22}{7} × 4.512 = 28.36 cm

The circumference of the circle is 28.36 cm
