Let the radius of the circle be ' r '.

Given,

Area of the circle = 154 sq. cm

We can also write the same equation as follows because area of circle also equals to π r ^ 2,

π r ^ 2 = 154
r ^ 2 = 154 / π
r ^ 2 = 154 / 22 * 7
r ^ 2 = 49
r = √ 49
r = 7 cm

Radius of circle = 7 cm

Circumference of the circle = 2 π r

= 2 * ( 22 / 7 ) * 7
= 2 * 22
= 44 cm

<b>Heya mate. (^_-). Solution below.
====================================

<u>Your Question -</u>

Find the circumference of the circle whose area is 154 cm².

<u>Solution -</u>

Area of any circle = πr², where π has been calculated to be 22/7 and r is the radius of the circle.

But, area of the circle = 154 cm² (as given in the question)

So, both are equal.

=> πr² = 154

=> 22/7 × r² = 154

=> r² = 154×7/22

=> r² = 1078/22

=> r² = 49

=> r = √49

=> r = √(7 × 7)

=> r = 7

Therefore, the radius of the given circle is 7 cm.

Now, circumference of any circle = 2πr

So, circumference of the given circle

= 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 7

= 44/7 × 7

= 44 cm.

<marquee>Therefore, circumference of the given circle is 44 cm.</marquee>
