\huge\underline\bold\orange{ANSWER :}

Given that,

AP : 125,120,115,110.....

LET,

  • a1 = 125
  • a2 = 120
  • a3 = 115
  • a4 = 110

Common difference (d) = a2 - a1 = a4 - a3

a2 - a1 = 120 - 125 = - 5

a4 - a3 = 110 - 115 = - 5

  • a15 = ?

a = 125; n = 15; d = - 5

an = a + (n - 1)d

a15 = 125 + (15 - 1)(-5)

a15 = 125 + 14(-5)

a15 = 125 - 70

a15 = 55

Hence common difference is - 5 & a15 = 55
