To find :  complementary angle of 79°

Solution :

  • Two angles whose sum turns out to be 90° are called as complementary angles.
  • In other words when ∠1 and ∠2 are added together and their sum adds up to  90°  then they are called as complementary angles.
  • Therefore , to find complementary angle of  79° : let x be the other angle then,

                                x + 79 = 90\\x = 90 -79 \\x = 11

Hence, complementary angle of 79° is 11°
