find the compound interest and amount on RS 35000 for 1 + half years compounded semi annually at the rate of 12% p.a.
The answer is = RS 6685.56 , RS 41685.56.
PLEASE DO FULL METHOD DON'T WRITE DIRECT ANSWER BECAUSE I HAVE THE DIRECT ANSWER.

To find: The compound interest?

Solution:

  • Now we have given the principal as Rs 35000, Time as 3/2 years, Rate as 12% per annum.
  • Now we have formula:

                     A = P( 1 + R/100 )^n

  • So putting the values in it, we get:

                     A=35000(1 +  6/100 )^3

                     A = 35000((100 +  6)/100 )^3

                     A = 35000(106/100 )^3

                     A = 35000( 53/50 )^3

                     A = 35000(53^3 / 625000)

                     A = 35(53^3 / 625)

                     A = Rs 41685.56

  • So Compound Interest will be: A - P

                     CI = Rs 41685.56 - Rs 35000

                     CI = Rs 6685.56

Answer:

          So the value of A is Rs 41685.56 and CI is Rs 6685.56
