hey \: mate \: here \: is \: your \: answer...

2x  - y = 2 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - (1)
6x - 2y = 3 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - (2)

on \: multiplying \: equation \: (1)by \: 2 \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  and \: subtracted \: them

4x - 2y = 4 \\ 6x - 2y = 3

after \: subraction... \:  \:  \: we \: get..

 - 2x = 1 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{ - 1}{2}

on \: putting \: the \: value \: of \: x \: in \:  \\ equation \: (1)

2( \frac{ - 1}{2} ) - y = 2 \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - 1 - y = 2 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - y = 2 + 1 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - y = 3 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: y =  - 3
