m : n = 3 : 7

•°• m = 3

n = 7

A(-2,-2) --------------------------- B(2,-4)

C(x,y)

x = mx2 + nx1 / m + n

x = 6 - 14 / 7 + 3

x = -8/10

x = -4/5

y = my2 + ny1 / m + n

y = -12 - 14 / 7 + 3

y = -26/10

y = -13/5

Answer : ( -4/5 , -13/5 )

Answer:

A(-2,_2) and B(2,-4)

take A(-2,-2) as (x1,y1)

and B(2,-4) as (X2,y2)

ratio 3:7 as m:n.

substitute the values in the formula

p(x,y)=[ (mx2+nx1)/(m+n),(my2+ny1)/(m+n)]
