Answer

Length = 45 m

Breadth = 26 m

Area of the field = l * b

                       = 45 * 26

                       = 1170 m units

Cost of ploughing = 1170 * 1.5

                            = 1755

Therefore , perimeter = 2 (l+b )

                                      = 2 (45+26 )

                                       = 2*71

                                      = 147 m

Cost of fencing = 147 * 3

                         = 441

QUESTION:

find the cost o

f ploughing a field 45m long and 26 m wide at ₹1.50 per square metre. find the cost of fencing it at ₹3per metre.

ANSWER:

Length of field = 45 m

breadth of field = 26 m.

rate of ploughing = ruppes 1.50 /m^2

cost of fencing = rupees 3/m.

In order to find ploughing of field , we have to find first area of field then we multiply with rate of ploughing.

area = lenght \times breadth \\ area = 45m \times 26m \\ area = 1170 {m}^{2}

cost of ploughing =:rate of ploughing × area of filed

ploughig \: cost = 1.50 \times 1170 \\ rupees1755

in order to find the fencing of filed we have to find perimeter of field first then we multiply with rate of fencing.

perimeter = 2(l + b) \\ perimeter = 2(45 + 26)m \\ 142m

rate of fencing

142 \times rupees3 \\ rupees426

FINAL ANSWER :

COST OF PLOUGHING = RUPPES 1755

COST OF FENCING = RUPEES 426.
