Concept:

Cost price is the manufacturing amount of any item. When we have the cost price of a single element and we have to calculate the "X" number of element prices. We can get this by multiplying the X by the cost price of a single item.

The selling price is the amount on which we purchase any item.

Given:

We have given the cost price of per meter cloth is Rs 36*2/3.

Find:

We have to find the cost price of  3*3/4 meters cloth.

Solution:

The cost price of a 1-meter cloth = Rs 36*2/3

                                                   = Rs 110/ 3

The cost price of 3*3/4 meters cloth = 15/4 x 110/ 3

                                                            = 275/ 2

                                                            = Rs 137* 1/2

Hence, the cost price of 3*3/4 meters cloth is Rs 137* 1/2
