Provided that,

Length of the room = 13 m

Breadth of the room = 9 m

Breadth ( Width ) of the carpet = 75 cm = 75 / 100 m

Since, no space is left between the edges of carpet and the edges of room, we may conclude that,

Area of carpet required = Area of the room

Hence, let the length of carpet be l.

So,

l * 75 / 100 = 13 * 9
l = 117 * 100 / 75
l = 117 * 4 / 3
l = 39 * 4
l = 156 m

Hence,

Rate of carpeting = ₹ 105 / m

Cost of carpeting the room = 156 * ₹ 105 = ₹ 16380
