Diameter of the well is 2.8m. therefore radius of the well = 2.8/2
= 1.4m

Height (depth) of the well is 21m

Volume of the well = πr²h
= 22/7 × 1.4 × 1.4 × 21
= 22 × 1.4 × 1.4 × 3
= 129.36m³

Total cost of digging the well at the rate of ₹1.75 per m³ = 129.36 × 1.75
= ₹226.38

given D = 2.8 m then r = 1.4m
h = 21 m

volume of well = πr^2h

then

volume = 22/7*1.4*1.4*21 = 129.36m^3

cost for 129.36 m^3 = 1.75*129.36 => 226.38rs

thus cost = 226.38rs
