Length of the rectangular field = 175 m

Breadth of the rectangular field = 125 m

Perimeter of the field = 2(length + breadth )

                                    =2(175+ 125)

                                    =2*300

                                    = 600 m

Therefore length of the wire required to fence = 600 m

Therefore cost of fencing per meter = 12 rupees

Then the cost of fencing field = 12* 600

                                                 = 7200 rupees

I hope you get the answer

 \huge \underline \mathbb {SOLUTION:-}

AnswEr:

  • The cost of fencing the rectangular park = Rs. 7,200.

Given:

  • Length of the rectangular park = 175 m
  • Breadth of the rectangular park = 125 m

Need To Find:

  • The cost of fencing the rectangular park = ?

ExPlanation:

Formula used here:

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (l + b)

Putting the values according to the given formula:

➠Perimeter of rectangular park = 2 × (175 + 125)

➠Perimeter of rectangular park = 2 × 300

➠Perimeter of rectangular park = 600 m

  • Hence, the perimeter of the rectangular park is 600 m.

Now,

  • Rate of fencing = Rs. 12 per meter [ Given ]

➠ Cost of fencing = Rs. 12 × 600

➠ Cost of fencing = Rs. 7,200

  • Hence, the cost of fencing the rectangular park is Rs. 7,200.

What is Perimeter?

  • The length of the boundary of a closed figure is called the perimeter.

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)
  • Perimeter of a square = 4 × Side
