Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

It say's fencing so it must be perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

Given that area = 12 = l X b

since l and b are in the ratio 4:5

=> 4y X 5y = 12

20y = 12

y = 12/20 =  0.6

therefore the sides are;   4 X 0.6 = 2.4cm

                                and;   5 X 0.6 =  3cm

Therefore the perimeter is 2(3+2.4)= 10.8cm

The cost of fencing = 7.50/-m

converting 10.8cm to m;  10.8/100= 0.108m

So the cost = (7.50 X 0.108)rupees = Rupees 0.81
