Dimensions of the rectangular park ,
Length ( l ) = 4 m
Breadth ( b ) = 2 m
Length of the fencing = perimeter of
the rectangle
= 2( l + b )
=2 ( 4 + 2 )
= 2 × 6
= 12 m
Cost of fencing 1 m = Rs 12
Cost of fencing of the park = 12 × 12
= Rs 144
