Solution :-

Length of one side = 250 m

To calculate the cost of fencing, we require perimeter.

Perimeter of a square :

$\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}4 × length \: of \: a \: side \\ = 4 × 250m \\ = 1000m\end{gathered}\end{gathered}$

Cost of fencing 1 m of park = Rs.20

∴ The total cost of fencing the park = Rs.20 × 1000 = Rs.20000
